In memory of Neil Bradbury

June 16, 1952 – June 30, 2016

Neil passed away peacefully with his wife by his side just a couple weeks after his 64th birthday. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 38 years, Arlene and his son, Scott. He is survived by his brothers, Rob, Tom, Dave, Bart and Aaron and predeceased by Bill.

Born in Milton, Ontario, Neil lived most of his life in Port Coquitlam, BC. He had a lengthy career with CUPE as an expert in grievance handling, mediation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution as well as a hugely influential mentor to new staff. He also served as CUPE’s regional director for BC.  Neil co-founded the Bradbury-Denofreo golf tournament, which for more than an dozen years helped raise thousands of dollars for the John Howard Society of the Fraser Valley. Neil loved to golf, participate in family activities, watch hockey and holiday with his wife, but most of all, he loved and cherished spending time with his son who meant everything to him.

To honour his memory, donations can be made to Parkinosn's Research, UBC. This fund supports research and clinical care for Parkinson's Disease and related movement disorders.
